The first full day in Chiang Mai we explored some of the hundreds of temples in the city of Chiang Mai and in the evening watched Muay Thai

Before we transferred to Chiang Mai we explored Lumphini park to see the Water Monitors.

During the day I went exploring the city and in the evening we went for dinner with some long lost friends.

We took public transport to see the Grand Palace and a reclining Buddha, then took a boat trip round the canals. The Susan and I drank cocktails.
